Kari Shipman

With over 18 years of experience in the multi-family housing industry, Kari currently oversees marketing at Canyon View Properties. Since joining in January 2022, she has brought extensive expertise across a wide range of roles and property types. Her career began in leasing, and she quickly progressed to managing diverse communities, including Lease-Up, Conventional, 55+, Student Housing, Tax Credit, and Mixed-Use Developments.
Kari spent 15 years with her previous employer, including eight years as Marketing Director and a member of the senior leadership team. In that role, she led the company’s branding efforts, developed strategic marketing plans, and contributed to key initiatives and critical functions such as software migrations and corporate operations. Her leadership and strategic vision, in collaboration with the senior leadership team, played a vital role in driving growth and operational efficiency across the organization.
At Canyon View Properties, a wholly owned and operated subsidiary of Canyon View Capital, Kari leverages her broad industry experience to oversee marketing efforts across all regions and states where Canyon View operates.
In addition to her professional achievements, Kari has volunteered in various capacities over the years, including serving on a plant team and as a board member for a local organization, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to community engagement and leadership beyond the workplace.
